Best Practices

Although many of our best practices in the F2F classroom translate easily to an online or hybrid environment, it’s important to keep abreast of what practices need to be considered with online writing instruction.

One of the most important things to consider is how the communication between you and your students will remain effective when you don’t see them in the classroom everyday. In order to enhance communication and create better learning opportunities, we have put together information on best practices for teaching in online/hybrid environments. Here, you will find linked pdfs, articles, websites, and folders to enhance your understanding of best practices in online environments.

Also, here you can find a link to our FYW Online/Hybrid Fall Workshop 2016 Presentation. Please let us know if you have more to share and we will be glad to add it to the site!
